The PitStop operates at a speed of 11,000sph, complementing the PitStop AF Speed, which operates at 8000sph. Both machines handle sheet sizes up to 50x70cm and stocks of up to 600gsm.
According to Encore, the machines are aimed at companies that require high volume creasing.
Managing director Mike Biggs said: "PitStop is keeping ahead of the market where there is a demand for faster finishing equipment in order to keep up with the increased speed of digital printers."
A punching tool can be built-in to the FM Speed and Encore claims it is the only machine on the market which can be fitted with one.
Biggs added: "We believe that the on-line punching tool will be a big selling point for the finishing department who need to improve their turnaround."
The punching tool is suitable for wiro binding or two- and four-hole drilling. The PitStop FM Speed will also feature a collection tray for waste paper.
Encore Machinery unveils PitStop FM Speed
Finishing manufacturer Encore Machinery has launched the PitStop FM Speed, which it claims will maintain its place as the provider of the UK's fastest creasing machine.
