Encore managing director Mike Biggs said tests conducted at the companys Dunstable showroom on a Shoei 74 showed that the gatefold plate could run at more than 19,500 copies per hour.
Weve had it going at 20,000 per hour, which is extremely fast, especially when you consider that the stop has to go in and out each time, said Biggs.
Shoeis latest pneumatic gatefold plate can be made for any sized machine.
Encore Machinery also supplies MB folding machines and Thando pile turners, handling and mailing equipment.
