The Italian manufacturer will exhibit its latest product, the Darix Evolution Light semi-automatic case maker, at next month's Drupa.

It is aimed at the short to medium run book market and handles formats from 180x160mm to 70x460mm.

According to Encore managing director Mike Biggs, the range complements Encore's existing range of Newbind closed tank PUR and EVA binders.

He said: "These machines have been designed to meet a growing need for medium- and high-volume books where a level of automation is required to increase productivity.

"At the same time, they offer competitive prices for those companies wishing to upgrade from manual systems."
