EFI has released an enhanced version of its in-RIP job editing software DocBuilder Pro.
The new version includes EnFocus PitStop PostScript and PDF file optimisation software.
Until today there hasnt been an easy way to correct errors or to make last minute changes without having to return to the native application, said EFI vise-president, core software and workflow applications Ghilad Dziesietnik. The late stage editing capabilities, which we have added to DocBuilder Pro, solve these issues.
DocBuilder Pro is based-on PDF and allows pre-ripped documents to be previewed, editied, assembled and imposed on a Fiery server. It is available as standard on Fiery Z16 server and as an option on the Z4.
