The kit was bought from Colyer Printing Systems and replaces an Indigo TurboStream. The digital colour press was installed due to growing demands for faster output and personalised printing.
"The DocuColor 8000 was put straight to work more than doubling our output, and the speed and quality were refreshing to witness," said Edwin Buckley digital print manager Paul Buckley (pictured right).
The press will be driven by a Creo Spire CXP8000 colour server.
Colyer Printing Systems is part of the Colyer Group, which has other divisions including Digital Print Factory, Colyer Graphics and Colyer Computing. Earlier this year the Colyer Group moved to expand
its presence in the digital print market.
