The Tewkesbury-based bills and statement specialist will handle Standard Lifes 1.5m annual statement mailing, additional monthly statements for another 1m customers and the delivery of duplicate statements for independent financial advisors (IFA).
This is the first time that Standard Life has outsourced this area of its customer mailings but customer service manager David Grant believed Edotechs track record in the sector showed it could handle the job.
It is absolutely fundamental to our business that we get this right. Edotech has helped us implement a new system from the ground up and spent many hours visiting Standard Life to make sure things run smoothly, he said.
Edotech will use a colour highlighting system to increase the user-friendliness of statements. It has also introduced a new method for sending the lengthy duplicate statements to IFAs on CD.
Edotech has also set up alternative production and delivery facilities in case of problems at its Gateshead and Tewkesbury plants.
