The narrow web flexographic printing press manufacturer has also restructured its management team. Former joint managing director James Boughton has been elevated to the newly created role of chief executive.
Boughton said the new 300m2 factory next to its current Romsey site had been added due to increased orders. The firm has also increased its sales area coverage in North America, Benelux and France, with the appointment of more agents as sales have increased.
The new site will make Edale's Alpha and Beta flexo presses, while its Sigma presses will remain in the old factory. The number of staff across the two sites is now up to around 50.
