HH Associates' web portal proved pivotal in the firm being able to offer marketing services that go further upstream than traditional print management. HHub provides HH customers with campaign and project planning, artwork approval, document compliance, digital asset management, pre-flighting and full reporting. The judges were impressed with the business benefits that the system could bring to HH's clients, which included slashing campaign lifecycle from 56 to three days and an average reduction of over printing of materials by 40-50%. The system was designed to integrate with third-party e-procurement packages, including Ariba, and to provide a pan-European solution including full localisation and support of multiple currencies and languages.
Another aspect which drew praise from the judges was the firm's attention to detail in the planning process and the phased implementation of client projects.
Having implemented the system with one retailer with a 2,000-strong branch network, HH subsequently began trials with three other clients, proving that as planned the system and the firm are flexible enough to deploy solutions for different sectors, services and scales of operation.

The firm's development of a marketing resource management system (MRM) for retailer World Duty Free called The Brand Terminal was praised by the judges for the way it improved the client's efficiency in implementing its retail point-of-purchase print. In particular its use of Adobe LiveCycle technology enabled it to deploy a fully featured system, with the power of Adobe Acrobat to manage the approval and annotation process without the need for any software to be installed by end-users.
