Duplo recognised in Sunday Times Best Companies scheme

Finishing equipment manufacturer Duplo International has been awarded one star accreditation in the Sunday Times Best Companies scheme.

The Weybridge-based company, which opened a new facility last month, was judged on eight key factors, including leadership and well being.

Chairman Robin Greenhalgh said: "We’ve made a huge investment in our business over the past 12 months, upgrading our infrastructure, taking on new staff and moving to a brand new purpose-built office.

"This award shows we’re doing the right things, enabling our world class staff to continue to deliver the best customer experience in the printing sector.""

Greenhalgh added that the award continues Duplo's commitment to the print industry, which has seen UK managing director Tony Lock appointed PrintIt! chairman last year and the company's marketing initiatives recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Head of human resources Jane Doyle said: "We’ve only just settled down from the excitement of moving into our new office and now we have this to celebrate too. It’s a great way to kick off the New Year.

"Companies are not judged by a panel they are judged by their own employees, so for us achieving this accreditation means that not only are we providing product and service excellence for our customers, but it also shows the huge commitment to our staff and their engagement in the business."
