The industry has been rife with speculation that a sale is near completion, however chief executive Yolanda Noble has said that no merger talks have taken place between the two companies.

"Dsicmm and Swiss Post have shared a long-term supplier relationship for more than seven years," she said.

"We are working with Swiss Post Solutions, its document solutions division, and our board has held high-level talks over a partnership recognising the significant opportunities to be had as a result of working together."

She added that the company was in "continuing dialogue" with the company, but confirmed that no merger talks had taken place.
