Drytac unfurls bamboo banner fabric as a new eco-product

Drytac Europe has launched what it calls an eco-friendly canvas-like banner fabric made of natural bamboo fibre.

"Panda Print bamboo fibre printable fabric is a green alternative for various applications and is compatible with aqueous, eco-solvent and UV inkjet printers," said a spokeswoman.

"It can be used indoors or outdoors at trade shows and events and is compatible with HP, Canon, Roland and Epson machines. Coated, it can last outside for around two years.

"It provides excellent colour pop and trims evenly without fraying, giving finished products that clean and professional look, but without harming the environment."

Panda Print is made in a closed-loop, environmentally responsible process, is 99.6% biodegradable and is certified free of harmful chemicals, she said.

The bamboo is grown on an organically farmed plantation and is not harvested from forests.

Drytac, the supplier to graphics finishing and display companies, supplies other eco-friendly products such as bamboo banner stands weighing less than 7kg each.
