The machine can print on any flexible material up to 5m wide at speeds up to 320sqm/hour and at resolutions of 1,200dpi.
The printer is available in four- or six-colour versions (including light cyan and light magenta), with optional white ink for both.
It also includes an integrated multi-station cutter, multi-roll capability and an anti-static device .
The RR50 is aimed point-of-sale, vehicle wraps, banners and flags, as well as one-piece billboards and hoardings.
DPI managing director Stewart Bell said: "Previously, 5m machines were limited by the variety of substrates that they could print to and the quality produced, restricting them to external applications with long viewing distances.
"The addition of superior graphics quality to the 5m width creates an armoury of new opportunities for display producers."
