Premier Paper has issued a terse statement in response to Donsides reply to Premier's writ (PrintWeek, 24 November).
Finance director Chris Davy said: We deny that any conflicts of interest have arisen or arose for our salesforce.
We also confirm that neither we, nor our lawyers, have been approached by Donside to discuss the terms of the contract or the proceedings that have been instigated.
Donside had claimed that Premier had lost its independent stance, and that it was in discussions with Premier about the notification period.
Premier expect to pursue the legal remedies available to it in the courts until its claims have been justified, said Davy.
The matter is now going through the legal wheels of litigation.
