Don Valley Graphic Equipment brings Maxima and WM calendar machines to UK

Finishing equipment supplier Don Valley Graphic Equipment has launched the Maxima WS and WM calendar production lines in the UK.

According to Don Valley managing director Derek Wood, the machines have an advantage over individual collators, binding lines and stackers for the production of calendars.

He said: "You don't have to take several different manufacturers and try to get their kit to talk to each other and its not two machines pushed together with a transfer unit. The machine is an all-in-one line and everything has the same mechanical link."

The WS system, which is Maxima's flagship line, has been available for three years, but the manufacturer has only now approached the UK market. Its decision coincides with the launch of the WM, which is less than a year old.

Maxima's WM line is a much smaller version of the WS and can produce up to 2,000 calendars an hour. The WS machine can run at 3,000 calendars per hour.
