Workflowz has many of the same partners as Dixon's former company, including Callas, Digital Media Partners, Elpical, HumanEyes, LithoTechnics and XMPie.
Dixon, who is currently the sole director of Workflowz, said that the company would use a consultative approach with clients to assess their requirements.
He added that there was a degree of confidence returning to the print market and that organisations were now investing, but were "generally being more cautious".
The launch follows the liquidation in January of Positive Focus due to the lack of available credit in the print sector.
