Burtons Foods group packaging development manager Brian Mills said he had chosen the Mold-based firm after an audit of the UKs top repro firms.
Diverse Images bespoke remote proofing and digital asset management system, which is called Keatings International Secure Services (KISS) and is based on IBMs Content Management Suite, was a clinching factor.
It gives us remote and real-time proofing that our partner printers can access. We believe that Cromalins will decrease over time. We also have MIS, which means that timings for proofs are much clearer, said Mills.
Printpack Europe, Alcan Packaging and Amcor Flexibles are among the printers on Burtons Foods roster.
Diverse Image managing director Paul Wyatt said his company would be able to provide efficiencies by removing file duplication and sending assets via e-mail.
We are able to populate the system with assets that can be repurposed for marketing presentations, press ads, or even digital movies, said Wyatt.
