Dinsdale joined the family-owned firm around a year ago and has spent 15 years working in the printing industry including roles at stationery specialist William Sinclair & Sons and at Intelligent Finishing Systems.
As part of the move he has also taken a 10% stake in the business.
TFP directors Victoria and James Robertson praised Dinsdale for the “solid engineering and technical expertise” he brought to the leadership team.
The Warrington-based company employs 14 staff and supplies a wide range of finishing equipment and supplies, including booklet makers, binding machines, card creasing devices, guillotines and laminators.
It works with brands including Duplo, Ideal, GBC, Eurofold, Renz and CreaseStream and offers servicing across finishing equipment from a multitude of other manufacturers.
Sister business The Binding Box supplies print finishing and presentation consumables.
Victoria Robertson commented: “Mark is a skilled trainer and has been involved in training our other engineers and many of our clients’ machine operators, he is invaluable to us not only for his engineering skills and his ability to train the next generation of engineers, but also for his ability to make real contributions to problem solving across the business.
“He is well liked and highly thought of by our team and by so many of our clients, who I feel sure will be delighted for him and wish him well in his new role.”
She added that while Dinsdale’s promotion would involve him spending more time training and supporting TFP's team of engineers, “he has no intention of archiving his tool kit just yet”.
“If you choose TFP as your service partner it may very well be Mark that arrives on site,” she added.
“We have been very busy in recent months and I am pleased to say we are gaining new customers every week with the older clients sticking with us too. Service is always in demand and machine sales have been fairly steady.”
