Oc has signalled its intention to move into high-volume digital colour print after signing an agreement with Agfa Monotype to OEM its ColorTune colour management and screening technology for use in high-volume colour digital presses.
"At Oc future high-volume printing developments will concentrate on full colour, spot colour and the improvement of greyscale reproduction," said Oc Printing Systems chief executive Peter Feldweg. "Agfa is one of the leading companies in colour imaging. We wish to benefit from this experience within our controller products."
