Digital Ad Lab aims to expand UK coverage

Pre-press workflow forum the Digital Ad Lab has revealed plans to expand its UK coverage with a new meeting in the north of England.

The seven-year-old forum, which brings together printers, publishers, ad agencies and repro houses to discuss issues around reliable ad delivery, is aiming to hold its first meeting outside London at the end of this year or early in 2006.

DAL chairman Gio Cantarella said: "There is a thriving pre-press and graphic arts community in the north of England and we would like to open up the benefits of DAL to those people."

Recent issues up for debate have included font licensing, soft proofing and colour management.

Members of the pre-press and repro community who are interested in attending or sponsoring the new meeting should contact Bill Greenwood at bgreenwood@gilchrist.co.uk.
