DigiGlass introduces DigiView one-way film

DigiGlass, the window film specialist, has unveiled a new one way view PET film, DigiView, after being granted a licence from Contra Vision to use its Overlap Registration System (ORS).

DigiView is said to allow a high quality design to appear on both sides of a glass partition by sandwiching a translucent white layer between two translucent design layers.

The printing process still provides through vision, while non-perforated DigiView also offers greater durability over perforated vinyl alternatives, according to the supplier.

DigiGlass is targeting the substrate at applications in the acrylic signage, interior decor, branding and advertising spaces. It allows panels to be printed and applied to the inside and outside of windows, glass partitions and displays.

Dave Macdonald, managing director of DigiGlass said the company was "delighted" to have been granted the licence to use Contra Vision's ORS for its film. "DigiView is a really important addition to the DigiGlass portfolio and ensures we continue to provide an expanding range of innovative window film solutions to our growing global client base," he added.

The PET window film, which comes with a 12-year warranty, is printed with scratch resistant UV inks, which can be easily cleaned.
