The Hampshire-based commercial security and currency printer has supplied the region’s travel documents for the past 15 years.
A new lamination process that enables personalised security tagging will be provided by De La Rue.
De La Rue Identity Systems managing director James Thorburn said: “The new document enables the government to offer an enhanced level of security, marking a new phase in passport issuing in the Middle East.”
