Dash Finishers achieves ISO 9001 accreditation

Finishing house Dash Finishers has ensured it will continue to retain its clients after achieving the ISO 9001 quality management standard.

The £1m-turnover spiral-binding house will also be going for the ISO: 14001 environmental management standard later in the year.

Rachael Edwards, who owns the south London-based company alongside Richard Ashcroft, said: "There was a bigger demand from our client base to guarantee them of quality and service.

"A lot of our customers are accredited so they wanted continuity of quality. This in turn can reassure any new customers of our quality as we are hoping to bring in new custom from this accreditation."

The 20-staff business also intends to invest later in the year on cutting and creasing facilities, as well as a new binder.

Edwards added: "We have noticed a recent increase in demand for wiro and spiral binding and we have also recently taken on new staff to cope with this."

As well as its bread-and-butter wiro and spiral binding work, the company also offers guillotining, drilling, collation and shrinkwrappings.
