Well over half of the respondents believed the dramatic fall in the value of the pound in recent months would have no benefit for print.
The majority (46%) believed currency fluctuations are too temporary to have an effect, while a further 15% said that print is too local a business to attract work from overseas.
Despite this, 21% thought the devaluation of the currency would result in a shift away from print production in Eastern Europe, while 18% thought that Western European companies would place work with UK printers as a result of the falling value of the pound against the euro.
This week it was announced that the Asda Direct catalogue would return to the UK to be printed at Prinovis, with HH citing the weak pound as one the key factors for repatriating the work from Germany.
It is also believed that the decision to print many of the Bauer titles in the UK was a result of the falling value of the pound against the euro.
One euro is currently worth £1.13, having been £1.30 last November.
