Culverlands completes 2m expansion with FSC accreditation

Culverlands has rounded off its 2m expansion programme by becoming FSC accredited.

The Hampshire-based company has made several significant investments during the past few years, including the installation of a Heidelberg Speedmaster 52 five-colour, a chemical-free plate maker and a 186sqm site extension.

Managing director Stephen Edwards said: "We became FSC accredited, partly because of enquiries from our customers, but also because of an awareness of the market place.

"We though we should be part of the environmental certification scheme and we are also looking to become ISO 14001 accredited in the near future."

The £2m-turnover company, which was established in 1949, has 30 staff and provides print for publishers, local authorities and design agencies.
