The interface is based on touch menus focused on file management, ongoing operations, settings, maintenance and servicing and can be accessed remotely by mobile devices.
Users can search jobs by name, change priority, or re-output jobs as a single separation or a complete colour set, calibration has been simplified using a text exposure file, precise control of the exposure unit head has been enabled and logs of activity can be exported for reports.
Christophe Lievens, basysPrint director of sales and marketing said: "The new exposure unit control of the basusPrint UV-setter features an ultra-modern interface that streamlines the way operators work. Plus operators will enjoy easy maintenance, integrated tools, XML-based data feedback, remote control and status checks, and complete control from smartphones."
All new units are being supplied with the new interface while existing customers are being retrofitted.
