The highlight of the facility is the new £3.5m KBA Rapida 162a large-format six-colour press, along with a new design studio which acts as a pre-press hub for the group and a dedicated CTP suite complete with Kodak platesetters.
CRP managing director Eddie Fellowes said: "The new litho printing factory, the most modern of its kind in the UK, represents CRP's determination to stay ahead of the competition through investment in the most advanced printing technologies.
"We are extremely excited about being able to provide our customers with best-in-class print finishes using this new facility."
The new machine will serve the 175-staff company's blue chip clients, which include Procter & Gamble, Nestlé and Unilever. The £20m-turnover company specified the press with a range of scanning and energy-efficient scanning technologies.
