The 1040S Revotec, launched at Drupa, boasts a quickset stripping frame, micrometer adjustment for the cutting plate and side-lay sensors.
Both the Revotec and its predecessor, the 1040NCS, are available with either a pre-loader or pallet loading, and have a cut size of 740x1040mm. In terms of speed, the machine has the edge on the 1040NCS, which can process 7,200 sheets per hour.
The South Korean company has reported no sales in the UK as yet, but Crosland group sales director Steven Waterhouse said: "The first machine was installed in Croatia, straight after Drupa, and two more are currently on order."
Waterhouse was one half of the management buy-out team, with managing director John Briggs, which bought Crosland VK two weeks ago (PrintWeek, 16 September 2004).
Crosland manufactures its own range of die-cutters as well as acting as agent for a number of firms including Young Shin, Brausse and Onix.
