Creo takes on NCS engineers

Creo UK has bolstered its team with the appointment of new engineers and has restructured sales to increase the focus on plates.

Les Burlison and Paul Blackwell have joined from NCS to strengthen technical support, Burlison as applications and colour engineer in the south east of England, while Blackwell, a hardware engineer will cover the firm's platesetters across the country.

"Their vast experience of our product range makes them invaluable additions to our service and support team," said Creo UK customer services director Bob Brooks.

Last month NCS' Creo dealership ended after the pre-press giant served NCS 90 days' notice in the summer.

Creo has also rejigged its sales team. Sales executives John Fordyce, Paul Stamper and Paul Duffin have become thermal consumables sales specialists.

The firm is also looking to take on a dedicated equipment sales executive for the South East, and anticipates adding further consumables specialists.
