John Emmerson, director at the Kenilworth firm, is using LinkedIn to connect with creative professionals such as designers, illustrators, photographers and artists, encouraging them to share examples of their work.
The promo will allow the firm to showcase the print quality of its 750S B2 inkjet press, which it installed last autumn.
“To help spread the word of some of our network’s talent and abilities we are going to be running a challenge,” Emmerson said.
“And because we’re rather proud of our Fujifilm Jet Press 750S we want to show you its quality and capabilities by giving an opportunity to bring some of those worthy projects to life.”
The firm will select its favourite submissions, with the creatives behind the work set to receive 25 limited edition prints on silk or uncoated stock.
“We've been overwhelmed with submissions of amazing artwork,” Emmerson told Printweek.
“We might repeat it later in the year due to the success and amount of interest.”
Emmerson Press is using the #showuswhatyougot hashtag to promote the limited-time offer. The firm specialises in high-quality work, and recently described the Jet Press as producing “better [quality] than litho, especially on uncoated stock”.
