Bourg, who was born in Belgium in 1925, died on 16 November 2014 in Boston, Massachusetts. He started the company in Ottignies, Belgium in 1960.

Bourg, who held a master’s degree from Solvay ULB in Brussels, was considered by his peers as a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary in the graphic arts field.

Over the past few years Bourg had remained active in the business although he no longer oversaw the day-to-day running of it.

In 2013, Joël Tourneix, head of the firm’s French subsidiary since 1981, was named managing director and chief executive of CP Bourg S.A. and CP Bourg Inc.

Today the business has a network of 150 distributors in nearly 100 countries, a US-based corporate office and sales offices in France, Luxembourg and Germany.

The group has more than 350 employees and over 80,000 clients worldwide. Its products are also distributed by Xerox, HP, Kodak and Canon.
