All 12 staff at the Clevedon-based company have been transferred as part of the deal, although Cove will continue to operate as an independent company from its new parent, Orchestra Group.
Cove (SW) went into administration with Begbies Traynor on 30 December and was sold the same day.
According to Orchestra Group chief executive Mike Cartwright, the digital printer is a perfect fit.
He said: "We are hoping to set it up as a centre of excellence for our digital activities. Their expertise lies in digital print, marketing solutions and cross-media activities. We do what they do, but they do it better. We are looking forward to working with them."
Orchestra Group, which has sites in Wooton-under-Edge and Bristol, has a turnover of £20m and employs around 250 staff.
Its services include security printing, laser printing and specialist enclosing.
