The magazine worked closely with Royal Mail on a timeline of Christmas stamps, which will appear behind the 24 doors that have been die cut directly on to the cover. Country Life was the first weekly magazine to use the format in 2007.
Editor Mark Hedges said: "We had fantastic feedback on our first ever advent calendar cover and it quickly became an issue we – and our readers – look forward to each year."
The cover was printed by Wyndeham Impact and perfect bound at Polestar, which also printed the rest of the magazine.
