Compose System has launched a version of its Color Express RIP that drives HPs DesignJet 10, 20 and 50PS series of A3-plus desktop proofers.
The latest version of the Harlequin-based RIP features a simplified user interface, which is also available to existing users of the RIP. A bundled RIP and printer package, the Compose HP50, costs 2,500 for printer, RIP and Windows 2000 PC to run it.
We were convinced the HP 50PS would be a great success and wanted to help our customers access all the benefits of this printer, said Compose System managing director Tom Sit.
Compose is the second firm to offer a Harlequin-based option to drive the HP DesignJet 50PS. At the end of last year HighWater introduced a similar bundle.
