Communisis seals deal for Production Intelligence software

Communisis has signed a 1.5m euro (1.2m) deal with Pitney Bowes-subsidiary Emtex Software for provision of its Production Intelligence enterprise output management software.

UK print manager Communisis will use the software to drive its transactional print and mail facilities, which handle print production for its financial services clients.

Alistair Blaxill, managing director of Communisis, said: "By partnering with Pitney Bowes, it will enable us to further redefine the traditional print service market, reduce our time-to-market and help expand our portfolio."

Pitney Bowes said the package, which includes its FlexServer centralised print management software, was the first of a number of "key projects" it hoped to undertake with Communisis.

"We look forward to being a strategic partner helping Communisis to meet its goals and service its clients," said Emtex Software president and general manager Tim Moylan.
