Comms Factory Group awards transpromo contract to Romax

Mailing house Romax has said that implementation of a raft of equipment over the last couple of years has helped it secure its first transpromo contract win.

The central London-based company has been awarded a three-year £300,000 contract with utilities company Comms Factory Group, which trades as 24Talk.

Romax  invested in an iGen 3 digital press last year, upgraded its camera technology and achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 4001.

Romax managing director Robin Sumner said that the contract is expected to be the first of many transpromo deals for the £3.8m turnover company.

He said: "Romax has worked hard to develop the business with the addition of transpromotional capabilities, it will be able to expand further into insurance, financial, utility and other arenas."

The 27-staff company provides direct marketing services, including design, data supply and management, print, packaging, enclosing, bulk distribution, pick and pack options, postal solutions and distribution worldwide.

Comms Factory Group managing director Owen Bloodworth added: "Romax has delivered an outstanding product. Every single aspect of our experience with them from the early stages of development to the live month run has been positive."
