The company, which prints digitally and on a litho machine up to B2, has bought a new System 2000 Bookletmaker and a DC445 Ducreaser.
According to production director Richard Allen, the new machines have allowed Colourstream to keep more work in-house, shortening turnaround times and increasing capacity.
He said: "We are getting into more variable data at the moment. Not everyone does it, so there are fewer people to compete against. The new machines have helped us to do that.
"We have the confidence now that we can get something out within the day if we have to. We don't have to wait for it to go to a finisher and come back."
The Farnham-based company, which was established in 1991, prints an array of products for mainly local businesses.
It currently employs five staff and has a turnover of £245,000.
Colourstream to bring more finishing work in-house with Duplo spend
Commercial printer Colourstream has said that it hopes to move further into the variable data market, thanks to a 20,000 spend on finishing equipment from Duplo.
