The change will mean the Colourprint UK and Haven Colourprint UK divisions operate as a single company. The head office, which includes the sales office and a local prepress outfit, will remain in Cardiff, although the pre-press equipment will be calibrated and wired directly to the equipment in the Pembrokeshire production arm.
The business is also looking to open regional offices next year, using the same model as its headquarters.
Colourprint UK managing director Karl Long said: "With sales targets of between £4.6m and £5m this year the merger strengthens the company's position in the marketplace and allows ample scope for growth."
The Cardiff and Pembrokeshire divisions will maintain their head counts of 11 and 33 respectively and Andrew Forrest has will take up the role of commercial director.
Colourprint UK produces brochures, literature, leaflets and promotional material for print management companies, design agencies and end users ,and last year was one of six pan-European printers chosen by the Environment Agency as a supplier.
