GPMU deputy general secretary Tony Burke says negotiations with Polestar are at a "delicate stage" over proposals to cut 32 jobs at its Chromoworks plant in Nottingham (PrintWeek, 5 October).
The union was scheduled to meet the plants management after PrintWeek went to press.
Polestar is known to be considering proposals, involving overtime and wage awards, that have been submitted by the Chromoworks GPMU chapel.
