The company has invested in a MKF-35 knife folder from Duplo, which is capable of running up to 17,000 folds per hour and can be used with materials up to 3mm thick.

The folder will be run in conjunction with an Duplo System 2000 bookletmaker.

According to Mike Scott, director at Cheamstar: “We produce a quarterly mailing of 30,000 8pp, A4 newsletters for one of our customers. With the new Royal Mail charges, it would have cost 44p per item in postage alone. It will hopefully give us a march on some of the competition.”
