The company decided to buy the 54-inch (1,371mm) Mutoh ValueJet 1304 for around £8,000 after moving in to sign making on top of its printing and framing service.
Chaggars Displays’ manager Ricky Chaggar said the company chose the eco-solvent printer because it suited a wide range of applications.
"We wanted a good all-rounder that was suited to indoor and outdoor jobs. The Mutoh ValueJet prints posters, canvas prints and outdoor signs so it was perfect," he said.
Chaggar said the company was planning to upgrade because Mutoh had launched faster machines since the company bought the Mutoh ValueJet 1304.
"As well as looking for a faster printer we’re also looking at getting something that does wider formats," he said.
