The Cheadle, Cheshire-based business has taken delivery of the machine, which can output at speeds up to 770sqm an hour in express mode, to up its digital capacity.
The Agfa spend forms part of an aggressive investment strategy that has included the installation of the UK's first HP Scitex TJ8550 in August 2010 and an HP Indigo 7500 this year to further expand its digital print offering into the short-run personalisation market.
"Our positive experience with the first installation of M-Press Tiger has fuelled the digital revolution already started at Cestrian Imaging," said Phil Reynolds, joint managing director at Cestrian.
The company's latest M-Press Tiger features a four-colour setup, handles substrates up to 10mm thick and can print at resolutions up to 720dpi.
Reynolds added: "Our customers don't just ask for print any longer, they now request the M-Press print when they seek our advice in creating their successful visual marketing campaigns."
Cestrian installed the UK's first M-Press Tiger in August 2009.
