The £100m-turnover company, based in Whiston, Merseyside, can now link up print campaigns with personalised URLs, SMS messages and emails.
InfoPrint, the joint venture between Ricoh and IBM, has installed Exstream Dialogue software for CDMS. It will combine document creation, campaign management, tracking and multi-channel delivery. CDMS has also installed four InfoPrint 4100 HD5/6 mono continuous-feed digital presses.
CDMS operations director Martyn Viquerat said the company is likely to go live with cross-media campaigns in the next few months.
“Digital printers have to consider the multi-channel environment,” he said.
“Through this solution, we are talking to clients about cost per respondent. We have the data capability to allow for more personal interaction with the consumer.”
Viquerat added that InfoPrint’s Exstream Dialogue was also a major factor.
InfoPrint sales manager Clive Stringer said: “The key driver was that CDMS wanted someone who would work with them as a partner.”
Viquerat said the next step for CDMS was to make a “significant investment” in full-colour digital equipment.
One press under consideration is the InfoPrint 5000, launched earlier this year.
