CDMS lands Littlewoods deal

Liverpool-based company CDMS has clinched a 1.5m print management deal with Littlewoods Football Pools.

The deal covers an 18-month period and the work will include the production of all its print including customer statements, football coupons and direct mail.

"We had linked up with Littlewoods for the past year, working specifically on its direct mail. Because we were able to offer that service, we were awarded the overall contract," said CDMS documents services director Martyn Viquerat.

It is the first time that Littlewoods has awarded such a contract as it previously sourced its own print suppliers. CDMS will buy digital print, envelope and postcard mailings, document development and data management.

"Anyone can stuff envelopes for clients but our advantage is that we offer a wide service and we understand what documents can do for a business," added Viquerat.

Fulfilment will take place at CDMS's new facility in Whiston. The firm offers similar print management services in the financial, leisure and retail sectors.

Littlewoods Football Pools is part of gaming company Sportech.
