The business has created searchable, interactive catalogues for Shop Direct's seven contact centres across the UK, which encompass brands including Littlewoods and Kays.
While printed editions are still distributed to the customer call centres, the numbers are less than the 10,000 annual copies of each catalogue previously distributed to each centre.
The 1,000pp catalogue is first printed as a hard copy before the file is transformed into a virtual book at CDMS.
This is said to offer online customers the benefits of being able to search for and zoom in on items.
Briony Cole, Process Improvement Project Manager at SDG, said: "For us, Virtual Books is about being able to see a publication that a customer gets and be confident that what you’re seeing is exactly what the customer is seeing.
"The positive response from our staff across the contact centres has been fantastic."
