CCJs put Evoprint on the brink

The trading status of Slough-based printer Evoprint was uncertain as PrintWeek as went to press, with legal action pending.

Evoprint currently has four County Court Judgements (CCJs) registered against it in the past four months, with a value of 16,800.

Steve Mepham, partner at credit checking agency National Print Database, confirmed he was currently pursuing Evoprint on behalf of a number of clients.

But Mepham said he was unable to discuss or give any further details concerning on-going litigation.

Evoprint was previously known as SMS Howard until October 2002. Its director and principal shareholder is listed as Myles Bunyard.

Bunyard is also registered as a director of another Slough-based printer, Capital Print & Design.

The parent company of Capital Print & Design is AB Graphics (Slough), which shows Bunyard registered as company secretary.

He was a director of SMS Howard, and along with his brother Ross, bought Multiplex Techniques out of administrative receivership in 2001, (PrintWeek, 17 August 2001).
