Cats Solutions offers SMEs growth service to cut costs

Digital printer and print management company Cats Solutions has launched a service which it claimed will allow SME printers to de-risk and reduce costs.

The Hub initiative is an outsourcing service for printer which Cats said can reduce the cost of paper and machinery, improve customer services, secure larger contracts, and take the strain off larger print jobs for SMEs.

Managing director of London-headquartered Cats Solutions, Greg Smith, said that in his experience most smaller printers have a couple of big clients they rely on to keep their business afloat.

"They often don't have formal contracts in place and this can be very risky, particularly in a harsh economic climate," he said.

"By partnering with Cats Solutions, small printers will receive help with the large print jobs on a flexible pay-as-you-go basis. This allows them to provide a more efficient service and pass on competitive rates to their clients."

The Hub service is charged on a pay-as-you go basis and customers can operate under their own brand.

According to Smith, it offers the smaller printer an option to provide its clients with an enhanced portfolio of services.

He said: "Cat Solutions is here to protect the small printer's interests and help our businesses survive, grow and prosper."
