The East London-based company, which moved into the new site on Monday, has changed its name to Capital to reflect the diversification of its business.
The new building incorporates a host of energy-saving and recycling facilities and has a BREEAM assessment rating of ‘very good’.
Eco features, which the company said are attracting interest from potential clients, include natural ventilation to reduce energy consumption, solar panels, and rain water harvesting for toilets and the factory’s garden.
There will also be ground source heating recovery, which extracts low-grade heat from the ground and converts it to higher temperatures for use in heating. A new Chim93 Screenwash will also clean water used during the printing process to the cleanliness standard of domestic water waste.
Head of sales and marketing Russell Tookey said: "The new building will reduce our carbon emissions by 12.65% and the government target is 10% by 2012."
