Planet Repros administrator, BDO Stoy Hayward, has found a buyer for the firm and will sell it as a going concern.
As PrintWeek went to press the identity of the buyer was not disclosed by BDO, which will release full details about the purchase as soon as they are available.
Planet Repro, which does pre-press for packaging, went into administration three weeks ago (PrintWeek, 11 May) after it struggled to repay creditors due to cashflow problems.
When the administrator was appointed it cut 16 jobs out of the firms total workforce of 65.
Planet Repro operates from two Liverpool-based sites and one Slough facility. In 1999 it invested 50,000 in the 100m2 Slough design studio, equipped with G3 Macs, in a bid to expand its services.
At the time the firms joint directors, Michael Furlong and Kenneth Graves, hoped that sales would double within a year.
