Their move follows Sappi, UPM, Klippan and Portucel Soporcel, who all intended to increase prices by between 5% and 8% before the end of the year (PrintWeek, 8 July).
This has been fuelled by improvements in demand for the first six months of this year, a factor reported by most manufacturers in their recent results.
Italian group Burgo-Marchi is to implement a price increase of 7% for both its coated and uncoated fine papers from September.
Neusiedler will apply a price increase of between 6% and 8% for all its office and offset papers, depending on the grade from 13th September.
