The event in London's Leicester Square featured a 280sqm carpet – the largest grand scale carpet to be used in the capital – which was printed on the world's only 2m Zimmer Chroma-jet carpet printing press.
The press is unique because of the number of print heads it has.
The carpet, which featured a fashion house-style logo for the character in white on a black background, took eight hours to print on FP 400 Velour substrate.
With a five-month lifespan, the carpet easily withstood one evening of being tramped over by the flamboyant Austrian fashionista dressed in an enormous bearskin hat, a cropped red army tunic and 'barely-there' hot pants, accompanied by a troupe of camp Queen's Guards.
Brno premiere features unique printed carpet
Premier PR has tasked Rutters UK with printing the carpet for the premiere of Sacha Baron Cohen's new film Brno.
